Lately, I’ve been seeing countless businesses, personal brands, and content creators having their social media accounts deleted. It can be absolutely earth-shattering for some when that is the main or worse the only, way they reach their audience and serve their consumers. We’ve all seen email marketing in action, and most of us know that it works. BUT we often overlook the importance of growing that list, nurturing it, and investing just as much time and effort into as we do social media and initial branding.

In order to receive your amazing emails, your audience had to have signed up willingly to your email list. They’re literally welcoming you into their personal space, their coveted exclusive inbox simply because they are interested in what you have to say and offer. That means, simply, they are already more likely to click, share, connect, buy, or whatever it is you want them to do because they are already hooked and interested.
You have a hot and engaged audience just waiting for your guidance. This is frankly the best thing you can have for your brand. If you look at your stats and compare them, your email conversion will inevitably be higher than your social media conversion or click-through rates. Mine definitely is!!

Other than your website and literal incorporation of your business, the only thing you have complete ownership of is your email list. Think about it - Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc, they’re all owned by another company. This means, any time there’s a new algorithm, update, or service that disrupts your social media reach and performance, there's nothing you can do about it.
