How to Put Your Logo on Your Home Page on Squarespace, So Mobile Users Can View It.
During my overnight branding overhaul, I wanted to ensure that my beautiful new logo was front and centre on my site. But I didn’t want it to be cut off when my viewers were on their mobile devices. Now there’s a quick little work around here that will always result in an optimized and beautiful result.
First, you’ll want to pick a background, or leave it blank with just the colour palette that you chose for you page. I opted for this moody shot that I found in stock images.
Next, we simply hover over the text box “Write here…” and click on the sideways teardrop that shows up…
You can upload your logo (make sure you have a high res version with a transparent background. You can drag and drop it into the “upload an image” box or you can browse your device.
Click “APPLY”. BOOM. Your logo is on your site and looking absolutely killer! But maybe it’s a little stretched out and it’s not fitting on the page without having to scroll to view the rest. No good. But don’t worry, that’s a super simple fix! You just have to edit a little. Double click on the background (not the logo), or hover over the background image and click on the pencil icon to edit.
Next, you just adjust the slider on the section height. I like mine being as small as possible for this cover page. So I just dragged the slider all the way to the left.
Voila! C’est fini!
Click done on the upper left hand corner, and you are all set! Super simple, and beautiful!

There’s no more worrying about people missing out on that impactful full logo of yours while they peruse on their phones. And let’s be honest, these days - most people are checking out your site on a mobile device. From phones, to tablets, iPad’s, laptops, etc.
